We say NO to Preservatives

As part of our close to earth best practices, we don’t use preservatives in our products. When it comes to nuts, trail mixes and granolas, exposure to oxygen (normally found in the air we breathe) makes them degrade and spoil faster. To protect our products and keep them tasting fresh without the use of chemicals, we use a technique known as nitrogen flushing. Through this simple process, we force all of the oxygen out of the package and replace it with nitrogen, a harmless gas found in the air we breathe. Want to keep your products tasting fresh after opening the bag? Seal the bag using the zipper and store it in a cool, dry place – like the fridge.
